This December, The Mindry and Sacral Sounds are excited to collaborate and bring you a Sound Healing Practitioner Certification Program taught by musician, sound healer, meditation teacher, pianist & singer Helane Marie Anderson. This course will prepare you to facilitate meditation sessions using sound and to do private energetic sound healing sessions. We will cover sound meditation principles, basic music theory, sound healing instrument history, demonstration & playing technique, working with energy, basics of a private sound healing session and how to use your voice to move energy and facilitate healing in the body, mind and spirit. There will be practice time added into each segment and each participant will leave with a Sound Healing Practitioner Certification.
Please note:Though helpful, It is not necessary to have any instruments yet to take this course. Your voice is enough to start and we will go over recommendations and give you a chance to decide which instruments you would like to purchase . There will be many instruments available to use in this small group and social distance and sanitization protocols will be in place to ensure everyone's health and safety.

ABOUT HELANE
Helane Marie Anderson is a transformational voice coach, singer, pianist, sound healer, musician, composer, energy healer, author, multi-instrumentalist and teacher. Her unique style of working with sound blends her years of studying healing modalities with contemporary music & sound healing. LA Yoga Magazine states, “Helane Marie Anderson sings like an angel, taking you into the celestial world with her voice paired with crystal singing bowls, chimes and alchemical bowls.” Based on her unique journey through a performing arts career that eventually led her down a healing path, Helane’s book and transformational voice program YOU ARE MEANT TO SING! 10 Steps to Unlock Your Inner Voice, combines her training and background into focused work with the voice. The intention behind her programs is to create a space that allows people to step into their power and purpose while connecting deeply with the voice through speaking, singing and action.
As a sound healer and meditation teacher, Helane regularly presents sound baths and guided meditations at renowned Los Angeles area studios InsightLA Meditation, SoulPlay Yoga, and The Mindry (Malibu), and has been featured at the Globe Sound Healing Conference, Disclosure Fest, The Den Meditation, WisdomeLA & St. John’s Cathedral. She has also opened events for such luminary individuals as Jack Canfield (Chicken Soup for the Soul & The Success Principles), Lisa Thomas (Energy Healer), Dr. Bradley Nelson (The Emotion Code), Mallika Chopra and more, and regularly performs with SONIC DEVAS, a group of professional women musicians & sound healers created by Lynda Arnold, Divasonic. She also recently taught Find Your Voice and Sound Bath classes for the non-profit Worthy Beyond Purpose that teaches Mindfulness & Meditation to kids all over the world.
Originally Helane’s path led her to Arts Management and she held prestigious positions at the Los Angeles Philharmonic and music publisher Boosey & Hawkes among others. Her leadership skills developed during that time and entrepreneurship skills developed since while creating multiple businesses over the last decade inform her ability to guide people using the power of the voice to create opportunities and step into leadership roles in music or whatever life path they pursue. She continues to teach an Arts Leadership & Entrepreneurship class at the renowned University of Southern California Thornton School of Music and has recently created THE POWERFUL VOICE LEADERSHIP INTENSIVE combining leadership & voice training, life coaching and more.
Over the past few years, Helane has developed Sacral Sounds Sound Healing Training Programs Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Virtually and beyond. Her workshops have been called “Incredible! Helane shares her knowledge in a way that is easily understood and creates a container that makes you feel comfortable and held!” Her workshops and sound baths are aimed at creating a healing space and opening the channel to create music meant to heal
Helane has also produced three professional sound healing recordings: ELEMENTAL ALCHEMY; PAINTED SOUND; A Journey Through the 7 Chakras; and SONGS FROM THE GODDESS that help to balance the elements and chakras within the body, mind and spirit. She is planning to release a new mantra-based album in the near future.
Helane has received certifications in Sound Healing and Therapy from the Globe Institute in San Francisco, CA, John Beaulieu and Jamie Bechtold, is a certified Integrative CranioSacral Therapy Practitioner and Massage and Polarity Therapist through I.P.S.B, the Institute for Psycho-Structural Balancing and a certified yoga instructor.
Helane’s deepest passion is to share her music and help aspiring singers, speakers and seekers get in touch with their voice and transform!
